We partnered with STRIVE on the search for Chief Financial and Administrative Officer. Based in New York City, STRIVE is a national leader in helping those facing the biggest societal barriers to employment obtain the training and support they need to build careers and achieve economic empowerment.
Our work resulted in the appointment of Tasha Jackson.
Jackson has over 15 years of senior-level nonprofit experience, providing strategic financial and operational leadership and management to organizations of various sectors and sizes.
Prior to joining STRIVE, Jackson held various leadership positions within the nonprofit sector, most recently at the Urban Resource Institute (URI), where she served as Vice President, Finance and Accounting, overseeing its Finance, Billing, Payroll, and Procurement departments.
Prior to URI, she spent most of her executive financial career at the renowned Girls Scouts of Connecticut, as Chief Financial Officer, where she oversaw and managed Finance, Risk, and Insurance, Human Resources, IT, Product Sales, and Retail.
Jackson actively volunteers in areas that support the empowerment of women, minorities, and marginalized communities. She spends her free time hiking, indulging in yoga and time with family.
She is an active member of the National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA), Women’s Leadership Council, and the Institute of Management Accountants.
Jackson holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Insurance from the University of Hartford. She earned an MBA in Leadership from Post University.
