The Mozilla Foundation

We partnered with The Mozilla Foundation on the search for a Director of Finance and Administration. The Mozilla Foundation is an American nonprofit organization that exists to support and collectively lead the open source Mozilla project. 

Prior to joining the Mozilla Foundation, Pang was the Director of Finance at Center for Family Life in Sunset Park, a neighborhood-based social services organization in Brooklyn, New York where he led the financial planning and management of the Center’s separation from another nonprofit organization. He was responsible for the budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, accounts payable, payroll, as well as fiscal controls and process development for the newly independent organization. 

Before transitioning to mission-driven work, Pang spent 14 years in business management, strategy, and risk management roles in the global asset and wealth management businesses at J.P. Morgan (JPM). He led strategic initiatives for two new multi-asset investment divisions at the JPM Private Bank and JPM Asset Management.

Prior to these roles, Pang managed business operations and cross-functional projects and also led financial and compliance management for the Global Fixed Income and Currency division of JPM Asset Management with $700 billion assets under management. 

Born in Guangzhou, China, he is a long-time resident of Brooklyn, New York. 

Pang has a degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University.
