Women's Foundation of Oregon
We partnered with the Women’s Foundation of Oregon on the search for an Executive Director. The Women’s Foundation of Oregon dismantles sexism, racism, and structural oppression through the movement of resources and ideas in the region.
The search resulted in the recruitment of Libra Forde to the role. Forde has over 25 years of corporate and social justice experience.
Previously, Forde served Self Enhancement, Inc. as Chief Operating Officer. There, she was responsible for all operations, youth and family programming, and day-to-day responsibilities. She led the executive team and provided programmatic leadership and input for all strategic planning processes with the CEO, Board, and leadership teams.
Earlier in her career, she was President and Founder of Utopian Academics for Military Children in Hawaii, an organization focused on the advocacy, development, scholarship, and implementation of hybrid education models for military children.
She has also served as Operations Director and Program Director for K12, Inc.
Forde is a member of Governor Brown’s Racial Justice Council subcommittee of Education Recovery, Oregon School Board Association Board of Directors for Region #8, Oregon Community College Association and serves as North Clackamas School Board Chair.
Forde holds a BA from Brandeis University. She earned her MBA from the University of Phoenix.
