Margaret A. Cargill Philanthropies
We partnered with Margaret A. Cargill Philanthropies on the search for their Program Officer of Environment. Margaret A. Cargill Philanthropies supports efforts to enhance quality of life and prevent and relieve suffering of children, families, and older adults; preserve and promote the environment and the arts; and encourage the humane treatment of animals.
Our work resulted in the recruitment of Wuryati Morris to the role.
In this role, Morris (she/her) has responsibility for much of the MACP Environment Domain’s Indonesia and Micronesia portfolios. She has deep experience in these geographies, having lived and worked in Indonesia for much of her early life.
Morris spent several years at global development firm, DAI Global LLC, and has spent the last five years serving as the Walton Family Foundation’s in-country program advisor for Indonesia. In that role, she was an important colleague and collaborator with MACP through the Indonesia Marine Funders Collaborative.
Morris completed her International Baccalaureate at the Jakarta International School before coming to the United States to attend Swarthmore College.
