We partnered with Alameda County Community Food Bank on the search for a Chief People and Culture Officer. Alameda County Community Food Bank is a nonprofit organization that supplies food to California food pantries and soup kitchens, distributing millions of healthy meals every year.
Our work resulted in the recruitment of Darin Conley-Buchsieb to the role.
Conley-Buchsieb is a seasoned business strategist with ample legal, HR, culture, Equity/Diversity/ Inclusion & Belonging expertise. For over 15 years, he has worked in a variety of spaces including government, public sector, private sector, law firms and nonprofits.
Previously, Conley-Buchsieb served as National Senior Director of HRBPs at Year Up and HR Director & Head of DEI at the San Francisco Ballet.
Conley-Buchsieb has overseen organizational-wide reductions in force, implemented city-wide policies for over 36,000+ employees, headed the HR function and the HR Business Partner function for local, regional and national organizations, negotiated complex labor agreements, facilitated uncomfortable EDIB conversations and discussions, ran organizational internal communications, and led all aspects of strategic HR. He is wholeheartedly committed to building a positive and healthy workplace culture for all.
Conley-Buchsieb received a BA from Bethany University. He holds an Executive Masters in HR Management from Cornell University. He earned his JD from the University of San Francisco.
