Turner is dedicated to identifying and pursuing dynamic leaders who fit the mission and objectives of her client organizations. She understands the challenges nonprofits face and uses her time-honed skills of client management, search process curation, and candidate development to find the ideal candidate for her clients’ roles.

While versed in all sectors of nonprofits, Turner has specifically had great success in civic and environmental advocacy, education reform, and policy-centric organizations.

Turner has successfully placed leaders at Americares, JA Worldwide, The Climate Reality Project, EarthJustice, People for the American Way, SCORE, Amnesty International USA, American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), National Women’s Law Center, and The Commonwealth Fund.

Prior to joining Koya, now DSG | Koya, Turner served as Managing Producer of a weekly news show on Bloomberg TV Africa and Al Jazeera English. While there she produced, researched, and pitched one-on-one profiles globally including segments featuring Ehud Barak, Newt Gingrich, and Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum.

In addition to her role with Koya, Turner, a Nashville local, serves as Board Secretary for The Educators’ Cooperative, a Nonprofit focused on creating a mutual aid network for teachers, by teachers. Turner co-produces the American Heroes Saltwater Challenge, an annual event supporting wounded veterans.
