Valerie began her corporate career in media and sports, working with companies such as MTV Networks and the US Open. She built a strong track record in Client Services, Operations, Business Development, and Human Capital Management, leading initiatives that drove business growth and operational improvements. Through this work, she experienced firsthand how strong leadership impacts an organization’s ability to scale and adapt.

Recognizing the critical role of leadership in business success, Valerie transitioned into executive search, initially focusing on media and technology companies as they faced rapid innovation and increasing competition. Over the past twenty years, she has expanded her expertise across industries including technology (hardware, SaaS, managed services), financial services (banking, fintech, asset management, insurance), industrial, automotive, consumer products, retail, aerospace, and energy. She specializes in working with organizations undergoing transformation and those focused on high growth, helping them build leadership teams that drive results. Today, Valerie partners with a diverse array of multinational clients at DSG Global, ranging from start-ups to publicly traded companies.

Prior to DSG, Valerie was Senior Managing Director of the Talent Advisory team of Teneo, where she played a key role building the corporate affairs executive search and board advisory practice. Her responsibilities included fostering collaboration between clients and various consulting teams across strategy and communications, board and governance, investor relations, government relations and risk/intelligence.
