The Trevor Project

Koya | Diversified Search Group Partnered with The Trevor Project on the search for their Vice President of Corporate & Institutional Partnerships. The Trevor Project is the world’s largest suicide prevention and mental health organization for LGBTQ young people. The organization works to save young lives by providing support through free and confidential suicide prevention and crisis intervention programs.

Our work resulted in the recruitment of Adam Disler to the role.

For the past 20+ years, Adam Disler (he/him) has developed a diverse background in fundraising, corporate relations, and strategy development, which includes transformational partnerships with top brands, employee engagement, social impact and corporate social responsibility, community leadership, and marketing and communications.

Prior to joining The Trevor Project, Disler was the Senior Director of Social Impact and Growth Strategy at Discovery Education, where he led the global strategy for social impact partnership development that ensured inclusive and equitable quality education for all K-12 learners. Working closely with internal cross-functional teams, he provided strategic guidance and leadership to building a strong pipeline of partners to support revenue growth and deliver measurable impact in youth development in education. His scope of work included partnership strategy development, mergers and acquisitions, multi-year growth initiatives, marketing and communications, and sales enablement resource development, among others.

Prior to that, Disler was the Chief Development and Marketing Officer at The Livestrong Foundation, where he oversaw all business strategies related to fundraising and marketing activities, including events, campaigns, and donor and corporate relations, as well as all internal and external marketing and communications.

Bringing a heavy passion and lens for diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, Disler has focused on elevating operational and cultural excellence in organizations, including coaching and mentoring cross-functional teams and providing employees with an engaging, diverse workplace where they have the resources they need to learn, thrive, and grow their careers.

Adam received his MBA in Global Business at Park University, and his BA in Sociology with a minor in Psychology at the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point. During his education, Disler completed DEI-focused study abroad programs in Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Thailand.
