Grantmaking Director, Bush Fellowship Program

Bush Foundation

We partnered with the Bush Foundation on the search for a Grantmaking Director of the Bush Fellowship Program. The Bush Foundation invests in great ideas and the people who power them in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and the 23 Native nations that share this geography in order to inspire and support creative problem-solving within and across sectors.

Our work resulted in the recruitment of Adora Land to the role.

Land is a cultivator of relationships and a servant leader who believes collective work is the only way to inspire opportunities for the community. For over a decade, Land has worked in the nonprofit sector as a system changer, facilitator of resources, and connector, developing collective strategies to increase community wealth through education, economic, and leadership development.

She serves on several community boards and advisory councils throughout the Twin Cities. Land is a proud native of St. Paul, Minnesota. She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. 

Land holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities in Sociology of Law and African and African American Studies. She earned a Master’s in Public and Nonprofit Administration from Metropolitan State University. She holds certifications as an Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI), Qualified Administrator (QA) and  Certified Professional Project Management (CPPM).
