Koya partnered with Mount Auburn Cemetery on the appointment of Beth A. Brown as Vice President for Institutional Advancement. Mount Auburn Cemetery is the first rural, or garden, cemetery in the United States, located on the line between Cambridge and Watertown in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, 4 miles west of Boston. It is the burial site of many prominent Boston Brahmins, as well as being a National Historic Landmark.

In this role, Brown provides strategic and operational leadership to the leadership and Trustees of Mount Auburn Cemetery to achieve its ambitious fundraising and revenue objectives for the organization.

Over her twenty-year career in fundraising, Brown has worked with notable nonprofit organizations throughout Boston.

Most recently she served as Assistant Vice President for Advancement at American Ancestors/New England Historic Genealogical Society where she helped secure transformational gifts to fund the Cornerstone Campaign, the Youth Educational Program, as well as significant operational support.

Other prominent nonprofits include Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Northeastern University’s D’Amore-Mckim School of Business, Handel and Haydn Society, and Boston Lyric Opera.

Brown received her Bachelor of Arts in Art History from the University of Maine. She earned her Master of Arts degree in Art History from McGill University.
