Caryn Morrow is Chief of Staff for the LDES Council, where she supports executive leadership in strengthening the LDES Council’s strategic capabilities, enhances organizational effectiveness, and drives the successful execution of global efforts to advance the LDES Council’s mission. Previously, Caryn was Senior Manager of Strategy & Operations at Microsoft, where she worked with international organizations, including the United Nations, to address global issues through cross-cutting partnerships and initiatives. She also served as Chief of Staff to the Managing Director for Law & Policy at Everytown for Gun Safety, where she helped shape organizational strategy. Earlier in her career, Caryn worked at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the U.S. Department of State, coordinating the U.S. response to global health crises like Ebola and Zika. Caryn began her career working on Broadway and touring with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.

Caryn holds a Master’s in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish & Portuguese and Theater & Performance Studies from the University of California, Berkeley. She is based in New York with her family
