Christine
Chilcott
Executive Director
Academy of Alameda
Koya | Diversified Search Group partnered with the Academy of Alameda on the search for an Executive Director.
The Academy of Alameda is a free, public charter school serving kindergarten through eighth-grade students.
The search resulted in the recruitment of Christine Chilcott to the role.
She joined the Academy of Alameda from Girls Inc. of the Island City, where she served first as Director of Programs and then as CEO.
Chilcott loves working with children to support and advance their interests and educational needs. She has a proven track record of growing program participation, improving organizational systems, engaging in wide-ranging partnerships to support children and the organization’s needs, in addition to increasing fundraising income.
When she is not working, Chilcott enjoys reading, swimming, camping, and playing backyard soccer with her husband and two daughters.
Chilcott has her Bachelor’s in Recreation and Leisure Studies and her Master’s in Education, both from San Francisco State.
She is interested in how schools and community organizations partner in a beneficial and sustainable way to support the whole child. To that end, Chilcott began her Doctorate in Education, also at San Francisco State, in fall 2021.
