We partnered with Equitas Health on the search for a CEO. Equitas Health is one of the nation’s largest LGBTQ+ and HIV/AIDS-serving organizations, serving tens of thousands of patients in Ohio, Texas, Kentucky, and West Virginia.

Our work resulted in the recruitment of David Ernesto Munar to the role.

Munar has worked for more than 30 years in the healthcare sector, including 10 years of dedicated leadership as the CEO of the Midwest’s largest LGBTQ+ health center, Howard Brown Health. Munar led Howard Brown in expanding access to comprehensive healthcare services for more than 38,000 patients at 10 locations across Chicago.

Prior to Howard Brown, Munar served for two decades in senior roles, including CEO, at the AIDS Foundation of Chicago.

Munar earned his BA in Hispanic Studies from Northwestern University
