One of the largest and most impactful behavior health organizations in Western New York, OLV Human Services provides clinical, education, home and community-based, residential, and employment services in the interest of preparing, supporting, and empowering individuals to achieve their life goals.
OLVHS serves approximately 12,000 individuals each year, with a focus on responding to the essential and core needs of the Western New York community. OLVHS believes that the primary agent of change is a healing relationship for those served and for those who serve.
Our work resulted in the recruitment of Emily Miller to the role.
As CFO, Miller oversees OLVHS’ financial duties and strategies, including compliance for government (local, federal, and state) contracts, yearly budget planning and implementation, overseeing all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, and managing the overall financial health of the organization. Miller joins OLVHS with nearly 20 years of financial leadership and experience.
Prior to joining OLV Human Services, Miller held various finance leadership positions within the healthcare sector; most recently at Oak Orchard Community Health Center where she served as the Chief Financial Officer overseeing the full finance function. She also served as the Chief Financial Officer at the Arc Erie County New York. While at the Arc, Miller most notably collaborated with two agencies to form a Limited Liability Company that consolidated the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) for three agencies.
Miller holds a BBA in accounting and finance and an MBA from the University of Rochester.
