Storbeck Search | Diversified Search Group partnered with Bucknell University to conduct a nationwide search that resulted in the appointment of Ginalyn Bavero as Director of the Counseling and Student Development Center.

Gina comes to Bucknell from Susquehanna University, where she has been on staff for almost nine years. She began at SU as a Counselor/Therapist and then was promoted to Assistant Director in 2021. She also served in the Interim Director role of the center a few times. She also served as an Eating Disorder Specialist at Bucknell during the Spring 2018, where she was a member of the Healthy Eating Assessment and Referral Team. Gina earned a Bachelor of Art degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice from Roberts Wesleyan College in 2007 and a Master of Art degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in 2011. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.
