Koya | Diversified Search Group partnered with the New York City Ballet on its Senior Director of Human Resources, Diversity, and Inclusion search. Our work resulted in the appointment of Judy Elliott-Pugh.

Judy Elliott-Pugh is a Human Resources leader with over 20 years of progressively responsible HR experience. Prior to NYCB, she served as the Senior Director of Human Resources for Interport Maintenance Co., Inc., a Newark, New Jersey-based intermodal shipping container company where she established the Human Resources department providing strategic and operational direction.

Prior to joining Interport, Elliott-Pugh was the HR Director and Talent Management Consultant at JNET Communications, LLC, a New Jersey-based telecommunications company where she was responsible for leading a team of Human Resources professionals in the development and execution of talent strategies and initiatives. Before JNET, Elliott-Pugh spent over seven years leading Human Resources at SBLI USA, a NY-based life insurance company in New York City, where, during her tenure, the company placed at #23 and #12, respectively on Crain’s 50 Best Places to Work in New York City for 2008 and 2009.

Elliott-Pugh is currently the Co-Director of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee of the Garden State Council of SHRM. The Diversity and Inclusion Committee acts as a resource to support the local SHRM chapters and organizations throughout the state as they expand their diversity initiatives. She is also the Co-Chair of the Student Event Committee responsible for the Council’s Student Case Competition.

Elliott-Pugh holds a BA in Dance from Point Park University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. She also has her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) designation, SHRM-Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), and Human Capital Strategist (HCS) certifications.
