Dartmouth College, Tuck School of Business

Executive Director of Admissions and Financial Aid

We partnered with Dartmouth College Tuck School of Business on the search for an Executive Director of Admissions and Financial Aid. The Tuck School of Business is one of three professional schools of Dartmouth College and was founded in 1900 as the world’s first graduate school of management.

The search resulted in the recruitment of Lawrence Mur’ray to the role.

Most recently, Mur’ray served as the Senior Assistant Dean of Graduate Business Programs at the Gabelli School of Business at Fordham University where he oversaw the enrollment management, financial aid, academic advising, and student engagement services for a portfolio of graduate business programs.

Prior to his tenure at Fordham, Mur’ray spent more than a decade at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill`s Kenan-Flagler Business School, focusing on end-to-end operations—including admissions and recruiting, student engagement, academic services, global partnerships and initiatives, and career and professional development.

Mur’ray also held leadership roles at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, and the University of Arizona.

In addition to his work in business schools and higher education, Mur’ray brings to Tuck deep industry knowledge acquired through his service to the broader business education community. He currently serves as chair of Educational Testing Service’s (ETS) Business School Advisory Board and is a member of the Board of Advisors for BusinessCAS as well as GMAC’s Advisory Council for Specialized Masters Programs.

Mur’ray holds undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Political Science and graduate degrees in Business and Public Administration from the University of Arizona.
