Founded in 1909 and located in New Jersey, The Newark Museum of Art (“NMOA” or “Museum”) is the state's largest museum and ranks 12th nationally in terms of collection size. The Opportunity
Reporting to the CEO, the Senior Director of People & Culture (“Senior Director") manages and guides the overall People function for the Museum. The Senior Director plays an important role in all diversity, equity, access, and inclusion initiatives. Additionally, the Senior Director will oversee the following major areas: People compliance, employee relations, payroll, talent planning and development, performance management, organization-wide training programs, compensation, benefits and pension programs, and employee wellness. The Sr. Director will be responsible for ongoing communication with existing and new people operations partnerships.
