Chief of Medical Oncology and Deputy Chief Clinical Officer, Atrium Health Navicent Levine Cancer Center
Atrium Health Navicent Medical Group is an established multispecialty medical group of 200+ clinicians providing professional medical services to the hospital entities of Atrium Health Navicent, Atrium Health Navicent Baldwin and Atrium Health Navicent Peach, as well as the patients in the communities served by Atrium Health Navicent.
Atrium Health Navicent seeks an exceptional leader to serve as Chief of Medical Oncology, Atrium Health Navicent and Deputy Chief Clinical Officer for Navicent Atrium Health Levine Cancer Center. In this role this leader will act as the Chief of hematology and medical oncology for Atrium Health Navicent and will be a part of program development at the Peyton Anderson Cancer Center adjacent to The Medical Center in Macon, GA; the Medical Center is the third largest hospital in the state of Georgia.
Additionally, this individual will act as market leader for cancer care for Atrium Health Navicent, and work as part of the Advocate Health Southeast Region cancer service line leadership reporting to Dr. Jean Chai (Chief Clinical Officer, Atrium Health Levine Cancer Institute).
As part of the Atrium Health Cancer Enterprise that sees over 20,000 new cancer cases per year the ideal candidate will develop collaborative relationships with the Levine Cancer Institute in Charlotte, North Carolina that will help to optimize care and to provide clinical trials for patients in Macon, GA. The successful applicant should have a minimum of 5 years of leadership experience as well as a track record in both the development of clinical programs as well as research.

Experience:
- A minimum of five (5) years in Hematology/Oncology or Medical Oncology is required.
- Experience leading physicians in a community-based setting desirable.
- Comfortable seeing and treating a wide variety of cancer types and solid tumor patients.
- Experience leading health system collaboration/affiliation/merger of oncology group, research organization(s) and/or academic partner, also of great value.
