The University of Central Florida, College of Medicine Faculty Practice at UCF Health in Orlando, FL is seeking applications from outstanding endocrinologists.  Applicants should be exceptional clinicians who wish to spend the majority of their time practicing in an outpatient setting.  This position involves delivering high quality, value-based, team-based outpatient care with opportunities for clinical research as well as medical student, resident and subspecialty endocrinology fellow teaching. 

A preference is that the candidate have extensive clinical experience in caring for patients with diabetes mellitus and thyroid diseases, with specific training and considerable experience in the use of ultrasound technology to image and biopsy the thyroid gland. An interest in the care of patients with metabolic syndrome and new technologies for diabetes monitoring and insulin therapies is also preferred.

Candidates who have additional faculty-level experience in endocrinology graduate medical education (e.g., fellowship) programs, peer-reviewed publications in the discipline of endocrinology, and have participated in research trials concerning endocrinologic disorders will be given special consideration.
