We are seeking a Chair, Emergency Medicine for Ochsner Medical Center, the 560-bed flagship facility for the Ochsner Health System in New Orleans. Ochsner Medical Center is a Magnet recognized facility with one of the busiest emergency departments in New Orleans, delivering complex care to the highest acuity patients. The Chair, Emergency Medicine, Ochsner Medical Center will provide leadership to and oversight of the Department which consists of over 47 providers inclusive of adult and pediatric emergency medicine physicians and advanced practice providers. With over 70,000 emergency visits annually, Ochsner Medical Center delivers complex care to the region’s highest acuity patients. Additionally, Ochsner Medical Center's ED is the hub for a system that covers LA, MS and AL with over 45 affiliated facilities. The Chair, Emergency Medicine will work the Ochsner's System Chair of Emergency Medicine to lead ED initiatives across the (3) states.
