About The Corporate Source
Established in 1996, The Corporate Source (TCS) provides people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities with well-paying, secure jobs from New York City and Long Island to Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. This is accomplished through the development of outsourcing contracts with the government and the private sector. TCS has come to realize that the business model provides stability and oversight of the workforce and ensures the quality and delivery of services that their customers have grown to expect from TCS.
TCS employs nearly 400 individuals and operates in over 100 geographically dispersed locations. TCS’s lines of business include janitorial, landscaping, warehouse, switchboard operations, kennel care, mailroom operations, administrative and office support, messenger, and attendant positions. Through this work, TCS is committed to change the perceptions of individuals with disabilities in the workforce where their value, productivity, commitment, and dedication can be experienced by all.
Through multiple partnerships with federal and state government as well as commercial businesses TCS provides high quality effective services. These partnerships provide people with disabilities the opportunity to work and live more fulfilling lives in the community. The Opportunity
To plan for the transition of a highly successful, long-time leader, TCS is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to build upon the strong foundation of work as TCS looks to the future. The CEO will be responsible for guiding the organization into its next chapter of growth and impact as it looks to actualize on a strategic plan. Deeply committed to mission, the CEO will be a compelling advocate and leader in promoting workforce inclusion for individuals with disabilities. Additionally, the next leader will be forward-thinking while understanding how to leverage the strengths on a long-tenured and highly competent team.
The CEO will cultivate a culture of excellence, collegiality, and collaboration, ensuring staff remain motivated and engaged in making a meaningful difference in the lives of the individuals TCS serves. Working closely with a Board of Directors, staff, and external partners, the CEO will continue to drive initiatives forward to enhance programs and services. Some key areas identified as growth potential is the nurturing of a pilot IT program that would expand into different service populations and explore more commercial contracts and exploring merger and acquisition opportunities.
