About DOVE, Inc.
DOVE (Domestic Violence Ended), Inc. was founded in 1978 and has since grown from one crisis hotline to a comprehensive multi-service organization. DOVE is a premier domestic violence organization in Norfolk County, Massachusetts. DOVE provides a range of services for individuals who have experienced intimate partner violence, including the following:
- 24-hour hotline
- emergency housing
- safety assessment and planning
- supportive education
- counseling
- support groups
- legal assistance
- assistance accessing governmental benefits
- community-based services
- community outreach and education
- children’s services
Since 1978, DOVE has sheltered nearly 5,000 families, answered more than 45,000 calls through our 24-hour hotline, and served over 3,000 clients through our community-based services.

The Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity to lead a dynamic and impactful organization dedicated to ending domestic violence and supporting survivors. The Executive Director will have the chance to shape the future of DOVE, driving innovation and expanding the organization’s reach and influence. This role offers the opportunity to work with a passionate team, committed community partners, and a supportive Board of Directors, all working together to create meaningful change.
Reporting to the Board of Directors, DOVE’s Executive Director leads a team of 23 full-time employees, 5 of whom are direct reports, as well as a number of part-time employees.
