Geisinger Health System is seeking a Vice President, Facilities Operations. Geisinger Health is a 10 hospital, $7.5+ billion health system and is regarded as a national model of healthcare delivery centered on a sophisticated multispecialty group practice. Serving over three million patients across multiple states with a primary geographical coverage area that includes 45 counties in central and northeastern Pennsylvania. Geisinger is in the process of executing a comprehensive, 10-year, $2 billion master plan to expand and modernize facilities across the network.
Reporting directly to the Chief Administrative Officer, the Vice President for Facilities Operations provides leadership for all aspects of facilities management: Facility Operations, Real Estate management and Facilities Planning and Construction. This individual will provide vision and leadership in helping develop a roadmap that minimizes Geisinger’s carbon footprint, improves energy efficiency, and reduces operating costs.
- A minimum of ten years’ progressive experience in strategic real estate and facilities management within a large, complex health system, university or other appropriate enterprise.
- A bachelor’s degree Master’s degree in business administration or related field is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in integrating and leading real estate and facilities functions within a complex, multi-site enterprise. Experience with creating the infrastructure necessary to execute a multi-million-dollar, multi-year Master Facilities Plan.
- Strategic planning and execution abilities.
- Demonstrated competence and of financial management, business plan development and budgeting.
- Track record of developing effective relationships with staff in multiple locations and inspiring team to perform at their peak performance.
