Reporting to the Vice President for Student Enrollment, Engagement & Success, the AVPDOS is responsible for providing and advancing the strategic vision, direction, leadership and oversight for Student Affairs to include all student programs and engagement services. The AVPDOS oversees a comprehensive umbrella of student life services, including housing and residence life, student conduct and conflict resolution, campus life, fraternity and sorority life, interpersonal violence and prevention, behavior intervention team, counseling center, health center, new student orientation and health promotion. The AVPDOS will be an engaged, visible and highly accessible campus citizen, leading initiatives and advocating for student success and well-being across all areas of curricular and co-curricular life. This leader will partner with stakeholders across the Bucknell community, both internal and external, including students, parents and families, faculty, staff, senior leadership, donors and friends and Lewisburg community members.
Terminal degree in a related field and minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership responsibilities in student affairs in a higher education setting is required. This is a full-time position that will be performed on site in Pennsylvania. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. The salary range for this role is $180,000 to $200,000 with a generous benefits package, including a housing benefit.
