ROLE SUMMARY 

We are seeking an exceptional Vice President/Senior Vice President, Operations to join our Consulting Practice, Yardstick Management. This individual will serve as the senior group leader reporting directly to the  Global Managing Partner and Consulting Practice Leader on all execution of all practice initiatives and priorities which include but are not limited to, managing and leading the team of consultants across projects, overseeing group BD and sales operations functions, leading client engagements, designing and developing strategies and business plans to support scale, ensuring prioritization of client success and quality in all engagement materials with a priority to implementation of data driven frameworks and practices, and delivering data-driven solutions that achieve measurable results.  

This role requires a unique combination of strategic acumen, analytical prowess, and leadership capabilities to drive impactful business outcomes for our mission-driven clients. 

An effective Vice President/Senior Vice President, Operations will possess a proven track record in operational management, business development, driving organizational success, and is adept at performance management, demonstrating the importance of management expertise.   

The final title and compensation for this role is dependent upon previous applicable experience in management consulting and/or related field.  

Primary Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:  

Client Engagement 

  • Lead, staff, and /or manage multiple client projects, ensuring high-quality delivery of solutions that meet or exceed client expectations. 

Strategic Development 

  • Collaborate with clients to identify business challenges, develop strategic plans, and implement data-driven solutions that drive measurable outcomes. 

Data-Driven Analysis 

  • Utilize advanced analytics and data modeling to uncover insights, inform decision-making, and uncover trends and opportunities. 

Project Management 

  • Oversee project teams, manage resources, timelines, and budgets, and ensure projects are completed on time and within scope. 

Business Development 

  • Respond to incoming RFPs, develop proposals, and present to prospective clients to expand our client portfolio. 

Thought Leadership 

  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. 

  • Contribute to thought leadership through publications, speaking engagements, and industry forums. 

Team Leadership 

  • Mentor and develop junior consultants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. 

  • Provide guidance, coaching, and professional development support. 

Client Relationship Management 

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.  

  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing strategic insights and ensuring client satisfaction. 

Yardstick Institute 

  • Play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the Yardstick Institutes; thinking through themes, venues, and opportunities, connecting with industry thought leaders and developing an exceptional and impactful experience for attendees and the world.  

Contribution to the DSG Platform 

  • Represent consulting practice across other groups within the Firm, helping to evangelize our capabilities and create cross learning, cross collaboration, and cross selling opportunities. 

QUALIFICATIONS  

Required skills and qualifications: 

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in management consulting or a related field, with a proven track record of leading successful client engagements and delivering data-driven solutions. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data analysis and modeling. 

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. 

  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead cross-functional teams. 

  • Experience in building and maintaining client relationships. 

  • Strategic thinking and the ability to provide innovative and data-driven solutions. 

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS 

Compensation for this role has a range of $150,000 to $180,000 and is eligible for a discretionary bonus. The compensation package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k match, and generous PTO including sabbatical time and parental leave, as well as short- and long-term disability, life insurance, and FSA.  

The final title and compensation for this role is dependent upon previous applicable experience in management consulting and/or related field.
