The University of Kentucky College of Medicine/UKY Healthcare seeks multiple BMT and Cellular Therapy hematologists to join the faculty. These are open-rank clinical roles for tenure-track faculty members. Academic appointment will be commensurate with experience.
New faculty members will be part of the Markey Cancer Center, an NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. UKY Healthcare is growing quickly, building a new cancer center ambulatory pavilion for the Markey Cancer Center, slated to open in 2027 to meet high growth in patient volume. The Markey Cancer Center is fully accredited by the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy and is the largest blood and marrow transplant program in the state. The Hematology and Blood & Marrow Transplantation team treats all blood-related diseases, including aplastic anemia and other conditions that stem from a bone marrow failure, as well as some solid neoplastic diseases such as small cell lung cancer and melanoma. Our expert teams perform autologous transplants, allogeneic (related and unrelated) and haploidentical hematopoietic stem cell transplants.
