Clackamas Community College (CCC) in Oregon City, OR invites applications and nominations for the position of Dean of Arts and Sciences. The College seeks an accomplished leader who can build upon the academic and programmatic strengths of the Division, while providing vision and strategy to cultivate equitable, innovative, and responsive education for our community’s future.  The Dean of Arts and Sciences is a dynamic leadership role dedicated to fostering student success and well-being. The Dean reports to and serves as an important member of the Vice President of Instruction and Student Services’ leadership team and is an active participant in academic planning and resulting activities.  This position offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact at CCC by providing leadership for the Division in alignment with the College’s mission, values, and strategic priorities, by helping to develop, communicate, and support a shared institutional vision; by providing guidance for instructional departments responsible for transfer and career technical curriculum; and by supporting continual improvement through assessment. The Dean has oversight of the following departments: Art, Business and Computer Science, Communication and Theater Arts, Engineering Sciences, Horticulture, Music, Science, Social Sciences and World Languages, as well as the Environmental Learning Center.
