Clackamas Community College (CCC) in Oregon City, Oregon invites applications and nominations for the Dean, Institutional Effectiveness and Planning role. The Dean will bring innovative leadership to the strategic planning processes, the College’s continuous quality improvement cycle, curriculum and scheduling processes, grants development, faculty professional development, and the College Library. The Dean of Institutional Effectiveness and Planning provides strategic leadership and oversight of the college’s accreditation, assessment, and institutional effectiveness efforts, including advancements in teaching and learning, technology, and reporting. The Dean reports to and serves as an important member of the Vice President of Instruction and Student Services’ leadership team and is an active participant in planning, implementation, and assessment activities. This position offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact at CCC by providing leadership aligned with the College’s mission, values, and strategic priorities, by helping to develop, communicate, and support a shared institutional vision; by providing guidance and support for instructional departments; and by supporting continuous improvement through assessment. The Dean has oversight of the following departments: Curriculum and Scheduling, The Center for Teaching and Learning, Grants Development, Online Learning and Educational Technology, and the Library.

In addition to the above, the Dean must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; the ability to innovate, lead, manage, and develop a team of individuals with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and expertise; significant experience in leadership positions with responsibility for complex administrative functions; and proven experience in managing competing interests. A commitment to student success will be key in leading the work of the Division.

This is a full-time position that will be performed on campus. The salary range is $133,958.03 - $193,675.92 annually and will be commensurate with experience.
