ABOUT NEW VOICES FOR REPRODUCTIVE JUSTICE

New Voices for Reproductive Justice is an unapologetically Black, movement organization dedicated to advancing Reproductive Justice, a framework centered on the needs, aspirations, and experiences of Black women, Black queer folks, and Black marginalized people. New Voices was founded in March 2004 and currently operates across Pennsylvania and Ohio with offices in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and Cleveland. Inspired by the leaders who have shaped our movement, New Voices for Reproductive Justice belongs to a powerful, intersectional social justice ecosystem of justice-centered organizations rooted in the human right to control our bodies, sexualities, gender identities and expressions, work, reproduction, and the ability to form our families on our own timelines, and the ability to do these things in safe, inclusive, accessible environments. Utilizing our three core strategies: community organizing, voter engagement, community organizing, and policy & advocacy, New Voices is fighting for a liberated world where Black women and their families and communities can live lives devoid of violence and have all of their health and well-being needs met.
