We are proud to be partnering with Lakeland Regional Health Physician Group, as they seek an AVP of Primary Care and Pediatrics in Lakeland, FL (30 miles east of downtown Tampa).
Lakeland Regional Health Physician Group (LRHPG) is the employed physician enterprise of Lakeland Regional Medical Center, is a 910-bed hospital. LRHPG has 28 locations and 375 providers and growing and offers quality care and services in primary care, specialty care, and urgent care.
Reporting to the SVP & COO, LRHPG, this key leader will be accountable for the ambulatory and group practice operations of these clinical areas, which currently includes approximately 50 providers across 20 locations. The AVP will play a key role in providing strategic direction and administrative leadership in the continued advancement and growth of primary care and pediatrics, which is expected to grow both in terms of the number of providers and locations.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 7 to 10 years of progressive operations leadership experience in an ambulatory/physician group practice setting.
- Must demonstrate a solid record of at least 3 years of relevant management/leadership responsibility in a progressive health care organization.
- 5+ years of experience in leading physician group operations within the context of a health system environment, with significant exposure to all aspects of a group practice including but not limited to: operations, recruitment, leading strategic growth initiatives, and contracting.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- MBA, MHA, MSM, MSHA or relevant degree preferred.
