Baruch College, a thriving member of the City University of New York (CUNY) system, seeks a seasoned, collaborative, and creative leader to serve as the Vice President for Communications, Marketing, and Public Affairs (VP) and to lead a talented team of roughly 19 professional staff in the Office of Communications, Marketing, and Public Affairs (OCMPA). Reporting to the President, the VP is responsible for managing personnel, budget, and operations, while driving initiatives across media relations, marketing, internal communications, and public affairs. As a key member of the President’s cabinet, the Vice President will contribute to executive decision-making and advise the President and senior leadership on communication strategies and sensitive political issues. Acting as the College's chief spokesperson, they will handle crisis communications, manage proactive media outreach, and foster relationships with key stakeholders. The VP will also work collaboratively with the CUNY central office Executive Vice Chancellor for Communications, as well as the systemwide VP for Communications group comprising the 25 communications executives from each of the system institutions.
