ABOUT THE MOZILLA FOUNDATION

Established in 2003, and guided by the Mozilla Manifesto, the Mozilla Foundation believes the internet is a global public resource that must remain open and accessible to all. The Mozilla Foundation empowers people to shape a healthier digital world. We work across borders to advocate for privacy, inclusion, and decentralization, and to create safer, more transparent online experiences for everyone.

WHAT IS THE MOZILLA FESTIVAL?

Movement building is key to Mozilla’s strategy to advance a healthy internet broadly and trustworthy AI in particular. As a core part of this work, Mozilla connects and convenes the builders, educators, policy makers, artists, activists, and innovators of all stripes working to make the internet better for all of us. The Mozilla Festival — or MozFest — is the party where all of these disparate players from around the world come together to envision and build a better internet and more trustworthy AI.
