Wesley Woods Senior Living seeks a mission-driven finance professional to serve as their next Controller. Wesley Woods was founded in 1954 by The North Georgia Conference of The United Methodist Church to provide affordable housing for older adults. Since its inception, Wesley Woods has expanded from one campus in Atlanta to 10 communities across the state, five of which are HUD-subsidized serving older adults with extremely low incomes, employing a total staff of 250.
The Controller works closely with the Chief Financial Officer and financial services staff of Wesley Woods Senior Living to provide oversight and financial management of the accounting department. This entails supervising, directing and sometimes performing tasks in the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Accounting, Financial Reporting, Treasury, Payroll and Financial Systems Support areas. The Controller will oversee the accounting manager, who oversees a team of two.
Nonprofit accounting experience, specifically as it relates to gifts and grants, will be a significant part of the role. Microsoft Business Central 365 is used for financial reporting. Other applications used include Lifecalc Pro, Blackbaud/Razors Edge, OneSite, and Paycom.

This is a full-time position that will be performed in Atlanta, Georgia. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. The salary range for this position $96,000 - $122,000 with a generous benefits package. The selected applicant may be required to submit to a background investigation.
