The Chief of Neurosciences will provide strategic leadership, vision, and performance of the service line. The Chief will have administrative and some clinical responsibility and model behaviors and actions that support the Piedmont mission, vision, and values, and fulfill our promise to make a positive difference in every life we touch.
The Chief of Neurosciences will have accountability for the performance of the quaternary neurosciences program at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital, leading system-wide coordination to achieve positive outcomes for quaternary neurology and neurosurgery patients. The Chief of Neurosciences will have consultative leadership over local hospital programs for Piedmont’s other 26 hospitals, ensuring the quality, consistency, and comprehensiveness of the neurosciences service line as a whole.
This position reports to the Chief of Staff of the Physician Enterprise and has a direct reporting relationship over all employed neurosciences physicians at Piedmont Healthcare. Together with the Vice President for Neurosciences, the Chief of Neurosciences serves as the Neurosciences Service Line leadership team for PHC.
