
Rappahannock Community College is seeking nominations and applications for the position of Vice President for Finance and Administrative Services. Reporting directly to the President, this executive leadership role will oversee a broad range of finance, business, administrative, and security functions essential to the College’s operations. The ideal candidate will be a responsive, collaborative, and resourceful leader with a hands-on approach, understanding the importance of administrative services in supporting the College’s academic, workforce, and student services missions. A commitment to operational excellence and student-centered practices is essential for success in this position.
In addition to providing visionary leadership, the Vice President will work closely with fellow vice presidents and College leadership in a collaborative, team-oriented environment at all levels within a matrixed management environment. This role involves overseeing the College’s business and finance operations, campus safety and emergency management functions, as well as facilities management for two campuses and the leasing and maintenance of four additional sites throughout the College’s extensive service area.
We are looking for a visible, engaged, and servant leadership-oriented professional who will take pride in serving the communities of the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula of Virginia. The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to improve operations and collaborate effectively across the institution. In addition to exceptional management and leadership skills, the Vice President will be dedicated to developing and empowering their staff.

This is a full-time, onsite position based within the College’s service area. The salary range for this position is $120,000-$140,000.
